Information We Collect
When you create an account, Vantage may collect your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, and account activity needed to operate your research workspace.
When you connect Google, Vantage requests access to your basic Google profile information, including your name and email address, so we can show which Google account is connected.
Google User Data
Vantage uses the Google Drive file permission to create, format, open, refresh, and export valuation workbooks that you choose to save from Vantage.
The Drive file permission is used for files created by, or opened with, Vantage. Vantage does not request Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, or broad Google Drive access.
How We Use Information
We use account information to authenticate users, maintain saved research work, personalize the workspace, connect company dashboards to your activity, and provide support.
We use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing Vantage features, including Google Sheets workbook creation, synchronization, export, and reconnection status.
Sharing and Disclosure
Vantage does not sell Google user data or personal information. We do not share Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness, lending, or data-broker purposes.
We may share limited information with service providers that help operate Vantage, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, and AI infrastructure providers, only as needed to provide the service.
AI and Model Training
Vantage may use AI providers to generate user-facing research outputs that you request inside the app.
Vantage does not use Google Workspace APIs or Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and Google user data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and scoped OAuth permissions.
No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to limit access to data to what is needed for the product to function.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account information, research activity, and connected Google account metadata for as long as needed to provide Vantage, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
You can disconnect Google Sheets from inside Vantage where available, revoke Vantage access from your Google Account, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when Vantage changes how it collects, uses, stores, or shares information. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
If changes materially affect how Vantage uses Google user data, we will provide notice in the product or by another appropriate method.
Your Choices and Contact
You may access, update, export, or delete certain information through the product where those controls are available. You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page at any time.
